In the past I have especially not been a fan of the Ford Taurus. Earlier models, in addition to being big and bulky, it sort of looked like a copy cat — the headlights made it look like an overblown, bloated Neon. Now, I love Neons, but they sort of look like they are trying to look like the poor man’s Porsche a lot of the time, so the Taurus got a double fault. It’s sort of how bands like Creed started trying to sound like Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam, and then a new generation of hacks (like “Daughtry,” amirite?) started trying to copy Creed’s sound.

But anyway! The new 2010 Ford Taurus doesn’t bug me too badly. It’s not solely for family drivers any longer, and the style shows that. It looks a bit more modern — and all I can say is, it’s about time!
