Looks Like Taurus Is Rising!

ford-taurusI have probably said this before — I am not the biggest fan of Ford cars ever born. In the past I have especially not been a fan of the Ford Taurus. Earlier models, in addition to being big and bulky, it sort of looked like a copy cat — the headlights made it look like an overblown, bloated Neon. Now, I love Neons, but they sort of look like they are trying to look like the poor man’s Porsche a lot of the time, so the Taurus got a double fault. It’s sort of how bands like Creed started trying to sound like Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam, and then a new generation of hacks (like “Daughtry,” amirite?) started trying to copy Creed’s sound.

But anyway! The new 2010 Ford Taurus doesn’t bug me too badly. It’s not solely for family drivers any longer, and the style shows that. It looks a bit more modern — and all I can say is, it’s about time!

Choosing The Right Car For You!

efficiencyNow that the Cash 4 Clunkers program is over, I have to say that I find myself thinking that I should’ve looked for a brand new car when I had the chance … however that got me thinking about what I want in a car.  If you are in the position of shopping for a brand new car, what do you want out of your car?  Well, that is a question that you need to ask yourself.

Choosing a car for you is something that is difficult and hard – it is not a decision that you really want to take lightly.  That is the reason why you need to do your research.  Researching the brands of cars that you want or even the models is absolutely something you should do even before you go to the dealer!

Buying a car is huge and while I am not quite sure what I want yet – I am doing my research and gathering my data!

The Astounding Opel/Vauxhall Astra

astraImages of the new, stylish Opel/Vauxhall Astra have not been around for all that long. After all, the hatchback with five doors will not be unveiled until later this month, at the motor show in Frankfurt. The vehicle was created at the GM design studio in Europe. It is the sixth generation of this particular silhouette, which leads by the cab, features a steep windscreen, and has a sloping roof in the rear.

However, contrary to its predecessors, it is longer, at 4400 millimeters; the wheelbases are 71 millimeters longer.

The design cues are purposely similar to those seen in the Insignia, both inside of the vehicle and outside of it.

Some things are different, however, meant to be innovative. These include the light signatures, which are shaped like wings, as well as the reversed blade on the flank of the vehicle.
