Taking a Peek at the 2010 Ford Taurus
Luxury cars are great, midline luxury cars are awesome, but let’s face it, sometimes we have to go with what we can comfortably afford, which is one of the reasons so many people are such big fans of companies like Ford. The Ford Taurus in particular has always been pretty popular, ever since its coming out party back in 1985. However, such a long running stance has made it pretty recognizable — that ends with the 2010 Ford Taurus.
The new model is actually much more luxurious than you would ever expect. It is even considered rather fun to drive, even exciting, despite being billed as a family sedan.
That conjures up some very precise pictures, but the 2010 Ford Taurus dashes all of the stereotypes.
It will be available in August, at a base price of $25,995 — not bad for a “luxury” vehicle that can get from zero to sixty in only seven and a half seconds.
UAW Talks With Ford: The Latest!
The automotive industry is one of those industries nowadays that is very hard to live with and definitely hard to read about. I know that whenever I am looking for some research to keep you guys up to date, it is very depressing. However, we are not going to touch on GM in this post, we are going to touch on the UAW union and how they are talking with Ford right now. We all know that Ford is reorganizing their funds and the UAW wants to make sure that they are taken care of as well.
The UAW VP Bob King actually told reporters that he is always in meetings with Ford and while Ford was the only one of the big three to avoid bankruptcy, which does not mean that their sales are not down as well. However, this does not mean that the UAW is going to strike either. The UAW is just talking with Ford about their contract and looking to make some changes to it.
Nothing has become official yet, so don’t quote me! Stay tuned for more news though!
2010 Audi Q7: This Car Rocks!
One car that I have noticed keeps popping up everywhere and anywhere is the 2010 Audi Q7. This incredible car is definitely awesome and it is by far one of the best cars – going to be one of the best cars on the market today. The form, body and shape of the car looks awesome and it is actually one of the sexiest cars I think that I have encountered in a very, very long time. The exterior changes, while limited are still apparent and there are many different interior changes that have taken place as well.
There car features Audi’s newest and greatest invention, the third-generation Multimedia Interface or MMI. It is basically an all-in-one system that honestly has everything from a 3D navigation all the way to looking up menus, maps and personal notes like ‘I need gas’ or even ‘I’m hungry’.
As you can see, the 2010 Audi Q7 is definitely the car to look out for because it truly is going somewhere!

Ford’s Sync to Go Global
The voice activated information service of Ford Motor Co., Sync is scheduled to go global starting 2010 in Europe.
The Sync, powered by Microsoft technology, will be available in 7 European languages. The automaker also plans to release it in the Asia Pacific Region and in Australia.

$400,000 Brabus G V12 S Biturbo
Looking for the kind of SUV that will really set you apart from the rest of the pack? Not too worried about aerodynamics? Have about half a million dollars to spend? Consider this absolutely majestic Brabus G V12 S Biturbo! Found it at Luxury Cars.biz, and got slightly aroused.
“The upgraded and powerful engine, added to a five-speed automatic transmission, has an impressive 690 horsepower and 973 lb-ft of torque. The Brabus G V12 S Biturbo accelerates at 62 mph in only 4.3 seconds.”
That’s 700 horses pulling you to 100km/h in close to 4 seconds. That’s Porsche Turbo-territory, for a box-shaped SUV. I’m freaking impressed!
Porsche Cayenne GTS Design Edition 3
“Porsche adds a little bit of spice to its line of SUVs as it releases the Design Edition 3 of the Cayenne GTS. The makeover of the Cayenne GTS follows the redesigning of its siblings Porsche Cayman S and the Boxster S Design.”
The Porsche Cayenne GTS Design Edition 3 really is a great piece of work, and it has to be one of the most awesome SUVs ever built.
Little extra’s:
“The engine bay remains untouched with the reliable V8 4.8L engine in place that is capable of delivering 405 horsepower. This engine is coupled with a six speed automatic gear system and an advanced exhaust system.
Discerning Porsche Cayenne GTS owners will get an exclusive Porsche Design wrist watch and a luggage set.”
Thanks to Porsche Blog.
14 Future Car Icons, Revving up Auction for Charity
How about owning the first retail release of future car icons, and knowing that you can help people by buying the first 2010 Chevy Camaro and the first 2010 Shelby GT500 during the Barrett-Jackson Auction to held in Arizona.
Twelve more cars will be auctioned to the best bidder to help certain foundations. The 14 car line up is its biggest in the history of the car auction.
The Camaro bears the stamped VIN 100001 and the winning bidder can choose if he wants a V6 or a V8 under the hood and decide if he will couple it with an automatic or manual transmission. The Camaro proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association
The GT500 with 540 horsepower is also set to sell fast among car lovers who can dole out some check to aid the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The earning from the sale of the Ford F-150 Raptor will also be donated to the same foundation.
Prototypes of these cars will be displayed during the auction and the first to get off the assembly lines from the car maker’s plant will be going to the top bidder.
The three cars get the center stage but the rest of the line up are real head turners as well.

I’m a reasonable Nissan fan (I like the GT-R, I like the Skyline), but this 2009 Customizable Nissan Cube must be the ugliest piece of automobility I have EVER EVER EVER seen.

I’m so disgusted by this car. BAH BAH BAH.
